This project, implemented on a spacious site, recalls a situation encountered years before (Tamboré House), revisits the theme of program decompaction, but this time according to different composition principles and with a renewed formal repertoire. There are three blocks, arranged and oriented according to zoning and topography conveniences. Two of them are interconnected by an elevated, glazed, walkway, and contain the essential activities of a house—kitchen, dining and livingroom in one block, bedrooms and bathrooms in another, while a third, adjacent to the entrance, houses the service areas.

A Cyclopian masonry wall limits the contours of the upper topographical level, close to the access, and at the same time introduces a striking plastic element, a fundamental reference, and organizes the disposition of the first two blocks. The long wall with its irregular course appears to be the pretext for breaking the orthogonal rigidity of the plan by the introduction of oblique virtual relations between the constructed bodies, as if they were rational logic lacunae, or spaces for decisions containing a certain element of arbitrariness. Its role as inducer of liberties is further emphasized when its vigorous and telluric image rebounds on the neighboring pavilion in the manner of isolated elements: support for a stairway and fireplace chimney.
